DYNAMOS’ LOVE FOR SANGOMAS (US$126,000) , BUT GHANAIAN PLAYERS LEFT HIGH AND DRY

DYNAMOS’ LOVE FOR SANGOMAS (US$126,000) , BUT GHANAIAN PLAYERS LEFT HIGH AND DRY

In a shocking revelation, Dynamos FC has reportedly splurged a staggering US$126,000 on n’angas (traditional healers) over 126 matches, while leaving Ghanaian players Emmanuel Paga and Frederick Botchway owed a paltry US$18,500. Priorities, anyone?

The math checks out: US$1,000 per match for 126 games adds up to a whopping US$126,000. Meanwhile, Paga and Botchway’s unpaid wages amount to a mere US$18,500 – a drop in the ocean compared to the sangoma fees. FIFA wasn’t impressed, slapping Dynamos with a ban from registering new players. Ouch!

According to insiders, the sangomas claim their rituals prevented the team from getting thrashed 4-0 instead of just losing 1-0. Brilliant logic, right? “If it wasn’t for us, things would be far worse,” they said. Because, you know, 1-0 is basically a win in Dynamos’ world .

Rumors abound that Dynamos officials are still sneaking into Rufaro Stadium between midnight and dawn on match days to perform rituals. It’s like they’re trying to conjure up some magic . But with players potentially lining up to report the club to FIFA, it might be time to rethink their priorities .

Sources close to the matter reveal that more former Dynamos players might report the club to FIFA over unpaid wages. The list includes Gwekwerere, Urikhob, Frank (Makarati) Illunga, Ziocha, and Mathe. If true, Dynamos might face even more sanctions.

Will Dynamos’ sangoma spending spree come back to haunt them?  Let’s see if they can conjure up a solution to their financial woes .
