Bournemouth Linked With Ethan Nwaneri as Transfer Rumours Gather Pace

Bournemouth are reportedly monitoring Arsenal teenager Ethan Nwaneri, with the south coast club considering a possible loan move for the highly rated forward. However, the 18-year-old England Under-21 international is understood to prefer remaining at Arsenal for the rest of the season, despite limited first-team opportunities.

At Crystal Palace, manager Oliver Glasner has indicated that discussions over his future will be stepped up in the coming weeks, with a final decision expected once talks with the club progress. Meanwhile, Palace defender Marc Guehi continues to attract interest, with Liverpool among the clubs said to be keeping a close eye on the England international this transfer window.

Liverpool could also be involved elsewhere in the market, with defender Joe Gomez named as one of the players AC Milan are considering as they look to strengthen their defence. Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo is another option being explored by the Italian side.

Uncertainty surrounds the future of John Stones at Manchester City, with the England defender entering the final year of his contract. Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that no decision has yet been made regarding the 31-year-old’s long-term future at the club.

Elsewhere, veteran forward Mario Balotelli is preparing for another move, with reports suggesting the 35-year-old is close to joining UAE second-division side Al Ittifaq, which would mark the 14th club of his career.

Chelsea-linked goalkeeper Mike Maignan appears set to remain at AC Milan, with the France international reportedly close to agreeing a contract extension. Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano is also nearing a new deal, although discussions are said to be ongoing regarding a potential release clause.

Liverpool have additionally been linked with former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, who has impressed during his time with Marseille this season. Tottenham, meanwhile, are said to be in negotiations with Santos over teenage left-back Souza, after seeing an initial £8 million offer turned down.

In the English Football League, Sheffield United are believed to be closing in on a loan deal for Wolves defender Ki-Jana Hoever, while also showing interest in Southampton midfielder Will Smallbone. Hull City are reportedly set to sign goalkeeper Seny Dieng once he secures his release from Middlesbrough.

Stoke City defender Eric Bocat has attracted loan interest from Belgian side Standard Liege, though the Potters are keen to keep him. Preston North End midfielder Stefan Thordarson is closing in on a move to Hannover 96, while MK Dons are leading the race to sign Huddersfield midfielder Ben Wiles.

Finally, Crawley Town midfielder Kyle Scott, who previously came through Chelsea’s academy, is being linked with a switch to the Las Vegas Lights in the United States.
