ZNSPCA Launches “Puppy Justice” Hunt, Offers $1,000 Reward for Puppy’s Abuser

The Zimbabwe National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ZNSPCA) is fuming after a disturbing video surfaced showing an unidentified individual brutally using a puppy’s blood in a twisted “healing” ritual. The act, described by officials as “sickening,” has sparked outrage across the nation.

ZNSPCA is offering a US$1,000 reward for information leading to the abuser’s arrest. “This wasn’t a ‘ritual’; it was torture,” said Senior Inspector Delta Chitakunye. “We’re not just protecting the puppy we’re protecting us all from this sick mindset. If you know this monster, report them. Now.”

Zimbabwe’s Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (Cap 19:09) makes such abuse a criminal offense. “If convicted, this person faces jail time,” said Chitakunye. “No ‘tradition’ excuses harming an innocent life.”
