Tendai Magaya granted $500 bail in a fraud case.

Tendai Magaya, the wife of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder Walter Magaya, has been granted $500 bail in a fraud case. She is accused of defrauding church members and the public through a fake housing and investment scheme. The court ruled that the state failed to provide sufficient reasons to justify keeping her in custody.

Magistrate Marewanazvo Gofa said Tendai Magaya is not a flight risk and has a fixed address, making her a good candidate for bail. She was ordered to deposit $500, surrender her passport, and report to the police regularly.

The allegations against her and her husband include misrepresenting land deals and promising high returns on investments. They allegedly collected thousands of dollars from church members, falsely claiming to have acquired land for housing and farming projects. The case has been postponed to November 18, the same date as her husband’s hearing .
