ZRP INVESTIGATES BRUTAL MURDER OF UNIDENTIFIED 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL FOUND BURNT AT KUTSAGA FARM

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is urgently seeking public assistance to identify a teenage girl whose charred remains were discovered at Kutsaga Research Farm in Hatfield, Harare, on May 13, 2025. The unidentified victim, estimated to be around 17 years old, was found at approximately 3 p.m., triggering a forensic investigation. Authorities transported the body to Chitungwiza Hospital for an autopsy, but her severe burns have complicated efforts to determine her identity or the cause of death.

“The police appeal to anyone with information to come forward,” the ZRP stated on Twitter. “Report to the nearest station or contact: (0242) 703631 or WhatsApp 0712 800197.” The case, treated as a priority, has raised alarm over safety in the area, with detectives working to trace the perpetrators.

The community is urged to help bring justice to the victim and her family. “No one deserves to suffer this tragedy,” a local resident said. The investigation continues .
