Zimbabwean Rapper Holy Ten Apologizes After Rehab Stint, Vows to Rebuild Following Insults to President’s Sons

Controversial Zimbabwean rapper Holy Ten has resurfaced after a six-week self-imposed rehabilitation in South Africa, issuing a public apology for his incendiary remarks about President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s twin sons, Sean and Collins. The  outburst, which included threats and allegations of intimidation, sparked national outrage.

In an emotional Instagram Live, Holy Ten accused the Mnangagwa twins of sending soldiers to reclaim gifts ,including a house given for his pro-ZANU-PF stance. “I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me,” he raged, questioning Collins’ popularity and hinting at dismantling the ruling party: “I can dismantle ZANU-PF today.” The video drew condemnation from politicians, fans, and the media.

The rapper checked into a rehab facility, reportedly funded by Collins Mnangagwa, citing alcohol dependency. On his return, Holy Ten expressed remorse: “I’m apologetic. I’m rebuilding myself,” vowing to prioritize family and music.

The president’s sons have remained silent, but ZANU-PF officials distanced the party from the rapper’s actions. “He’s a private citizen,” a spokesperson said.

Holy Ten faces legal scrutiny, though no charges have been filed. Authorities warn against escalating tensions. “Respect leaders,” urged the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
