Zimbabwean Businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo Gifts 20 Ushers with New Cars

In a heartwarming display of generosity, Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo, popularly known as Sir Wicknell, has gifted 20 ushers from Kingdom Prosperity Ministries with brand-new cars. The announcement was made during a morning prayer meeting at 99 Parklane Avenue in Harare, where Chivayo expressed his desire to support the church’s efforts. This latest gesture has cemented Chivayo’s reputation as a philanthropist who isn’t afraid to share his wealth.

Chivayo’s net worth is estimated to be around $100 million, which he claims will take him approximately nine years to reach his goal of becoming a billionaire. Known for his flamboyant lifestyle and close ties to the ruling ZANU-PF party, Chivayo has been making headlines for his extravagant gifts to various individuals, including musicians and journalists. In May 2025, he gifted veteran broadcaster Reuben Barwe a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser VXR LX 300 Series and $100,000 in cash. He has also given musician Jah Prayzah gifts totaling nearly $1 million, including luxury vehicles and cash .

Chivayo’s philanthropic efforts have been well-documented, with many speculating about the sources of his income and the transparency of government contracts awarded to his companies. Despite controversies surrounding his business dealings, Chivayo remains a prominent figure in Zimbabwean society, known for his generosity and influence. His latest gesture is likely to further solidify his reputation as a philanthropist and businessman who isn’t afraid to make a statement .
