The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) recently made a major breakthrough in the fight against illegal drugs by confiscating a large quantity of narcotics. The seized items were proudly displayed to the public and invited guests, just before the launch of a new nationwide anti-drug campaign.
In an official statement, the ZRP revealed that the haul included dagga, 30 kilograms of skunk, 465 boxes of banned cough syrup, 20 grams of cocaine, and ganja-infused chocolate cakes. This public exhibition of the confiscated drugs underscores both the severity of the drug problem in the country and the police’s continued commitment to tackling drug trafficking and abuse.
