Known by various names such as “Guka Makafela,” “Mutoriro,” “Buwe,” or “Mujaguna,” crystal meth has ravaged the youth, particularly the unemployed, and contributed to a surge in crime rates across high-density areas.
The abuse of crystal meth has led to increased banditry and burglaries, sparking fear among residents. The ZRP has taken a firm stance against drug trafficking and abuse, urging spouses of drug victims to seek rehabilitation support. The police are also encouraging the public to report any suspicious activities related to drugs and narcotics to their nearest station.
