Three Infants Found Dead in Mercedes Benz Boot

A heartbreaking incident has shaken Harare, Zimbabwe, after the discovery of three infants dead inside a Mercedes Benz vehicle at a Kuwadzana Extension car park on October 3, 2025. The deceased children were identified as Anopaishe Muzanago, three years old, Anenyasha Muzanago, one year and three months old, and Raymond Matsiwe, four years old.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched a full-scale investigation into the tragic incident. According to police, the minors had been missing since October 1, 2025, at approximately 10:00 hours. They were last seen playing outside their yard while their mothers were occupied with household chores.

The ZRP has denied circulating social media claims that no action was taken after a missing person report was filed. The police clarified that the Commissioner-General of Police and senior officers were informed of the incident on the night of October 2, 2025, following a complaint from a freelance journalist.

The ZRP has assured the public that no stone will be left unturned to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. The police have urged anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
