In a shocking turn of events, a 24 year old teacher was sentenced to 30 years in prison for repeated r@pe of a student.
Laxon Chisinga repeatedly m0lested a 10-year-old child under his academic supervision. The Claremont resident maintained his innocence throughout proceedings until just punishment was meted out.
Pleadings claim Chisinga exploited his position to prey upon the pure third-grader. Prosecutor Cuthbert Bhosha presented compelling evidence showing the predator first assaulted the child in April during what should have been a protected learning environment.
“The defendant systematically manipulated the situation,” Bhosha explained. “After evening lessons concluded, he isolated the victim in his bedroom under false pretenses, committing the first traumatizing violation.”
A disturbing pattern of horrific violations continued until early May until the victim later returned voluntarily to her perpetrator’s residence, demonstrating the psychological trauma inflicted.
Magistrate Phathekile Msipa delivered slammed Laxon with a 15-year sentences for each criminal count under Zimbabwe’s stringent sexual violence legislation. Medical confirmation from Nyanga District Hospital substantiated the assaults.
