The nation is in shock after the tragic death of social media personality Zaria Khadejah Carr, known online as Dutchess Dior. The 27-year-old mother of two was fatally shot by her husband, Shamarcus Carr, in a domestic violence incident that has sparked widespread outrage.

 

The altercation was partially livestreamed on Facebook, with the couple arguing over infidelity allegations. The disturbing video has left many in shock, and the incident has raised questions about the role of social media in domestic violence cases.

 

After the incident, Shamarcus fled the scene and led police on a high-speed chase. He later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside his vehicle. The couple’s two children are now orphaned, adding to the tragedy  of the  situation
