President Mnangagwa Receives Ambulances and Vehicles Donated by Wicknell Chivayo Amidst Ongoing Feud with Advocate Fadzai Mahere

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa today officially received a donation of ambulances and vehicles from prominent businessman and philanthropist Wicknell Chivayo. The handover ceremony took place in Harare, witnessed by several senior government officials.

The donation includes 10 Toyota Land Cruiser ambulances designated for provincial hospitals, aimed at enhancing healthcare services across the country. Additionally, 10 Toyota Land Cruiser VXR vehicles were handed over to Zanu PF Provincial Chairpersons to support their official duties.

In a further gesture of support, Sir Wicknell Chivayo also contributed US$1 million in cash, which will be distributed among the Provincial Chairpersons, with each leader receiving US$100,000.

This generous donation is expected to strengthen provincial healthcare infrastructure and bolster the capacities of party leaders in their respective regions.

However, the event comes amidst an ongoing public feud between Sir Wicknell Chivayo and Advocate Fadzai Mahere, a prominent lawyer and political activist in Zimbabwe. The dispute reportedly centers on allegations related to business practices and political affiliations, with both parties exchanging accusations on social media and in public statements.
