Plumtree Man Nabbed for Growing and Peddling Mbanje

In a twist that sounds like it came straight out of a quirky sitcom, Melusi Mapolisa from Rangemore Sewage Ponds, Plumtree, has been arrested by the Zimbabwe Republic Police for cultivating and selling dagga right in his backyard. Instead of the usual tomatoes or cabbages, Melusi decided to grow Indian hemp plants, which he was reportedly processing and selling to the public.

Authorities confirmed that his garden was less of a vegetable patch and more of a secret dagga factory, turning the quiet neighborhood into an unexpected hotspot for herbal entrepreneurship. One can only imagine the neighbors’ surprise when the scent of freshly grown dagga wafted through the air instead of the usual garden aromas!

The ZRP has reiterated its stance with a firm #NoToDangerousDrugs message, reminding everyone that while gardening can be a peaceful hobby, some plants are definitely off-limits. A big , No .
