Nelson Chamisa Brushs Off Rumors About His Next Political Moves As Mere Smoke and Mirrors.

Nelson Chamisa Brushs Off Rumors About His Next Political Moves As Mere Smoke and Mirrors.

Nelson Chamisa, the erstwhile head of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), has urged his followers to keep their cool and stay laser-focused, despite what he calls a circus of “sideshows, fabrications, and tall tales” spun by his political adversaries.

In a Sunday social media dispatch, Chamisa reassured his fans that he remains deeply immersed in crafting Zimbabwe’s “magnificent and dazzling future,” brushing off rumors about his next political moves as mere smoke and mirrors.

“Dear compatriots, don’t get distracted by the carnival of nonsense and fibs our opponents are peddling. Keep your eyes on the prize. I carry the weight of the nation’s hopes and I vow not to let you down or fumble this grand mission,” he declared.

Having parted ways with the CCC in January 2024, citing secret agents and puppet masters from the ruling ZANU-PF infiltrating the ranks, Chamisa emphasized that not every move can be announced publicly after all, information is like a rare exotic bird that must be kept under lock and key.

“Not all masterstrokes are revealed to the other side. Every step I take is aimed at ushering in Zimbabwe’s glorious dawn,” he insisted.

He encouraged his followers to banish fear and suspicion, cryptically promising that soon enough, the method behind his mysterious strategy would become clear.

“My hands are firmly on the helm, my gaze fixed on the grand vision. The fight rages on, and I remain unwavering, fully engaged in work that cannot be derailed by trivial distractions even if those distractions include juggling flaming torches or riding imaginary unicorns,” he concluded.
