Man Accused of Using Lovers’ Nude Photos to Scam Men Online

A 27-year-old man from Harare, Zimbabwe, has been accused of using nude photos of his lovers to pose as a woman online and scam men out of money. John Nyakudya allegedly created fake Facebook and WhatsApp profiles using explicit images of his girlfriends, including married women, to convince unsuspecting men to send him money for transport and airtime.

According to his wife, Emily Makunike, John would use seductive language and the nude photos to deceive men into believing they were chatting with a real woman in distress. Emily discovered the scheme after finding the evidence on John’s phone and has since left him, moving back in with her parents while pregnant with their second child.

John confirmed the separation but downplayed the number of explicit photos, claiming there were only one or two. However, Emily alleges that there were many more, and John’s actions were not only deceitful but also exploitative.

This incident highlights the importance of online safety and the potential consequences of sharing explicit content. It also raises questions about the motivations behind John’s actions and the impact on his relationships.
