A disturbing trend has emerged involving HezyMotors Logistics, a Milton Park based vehicle import company led by Director Hazel Mafu. Multiple clients, including one who paid US$4,000+ in January for a car, claim they’ve been ghosted by the company, with no vehicle delivered and communications ignored. “I bought a car in January, but still haven’t received it,” the frustrated customer told Crime Watch. “They say it’s in Tanzania, but it’s been two months with no updates. I was told to pay US$200 for duty, but nothing’s been done. They blame ZIMRA, avoid my calls, and delete my Facebook comments.” The client shared a receipt as proof of payment.

Hazel Mafu recently told The Herald that HezyMotors has no pending vehicles from Feb–May and is processing June orders in batches. Yet this client, who ordered in May, remains in limbo. Other victims allege similar scams, paying US$2,000–US$5,000 with no refunds or cars. After public complaints, HezyMotors ,restricted Facebook comments on their apology post ,threatened legal action against “contract breaches and used fake accounts to deflect criticism.

Whistleblowers accuse the company of a PR smokescreen to scam new clients.
Victims, unable to afford legal fees, urge authorities to investigate. “This is organised fraud, not a business,” said one. “Hazel Mafu must be held accountable.” The Zimbabwe Consumer Protection Commission and ZRP are urged to act.
