Girl Power Gone Wrong: Taxi Driver Meets Boot

Girl Power Gone Wrong: Taxi Driver Meets Boot

In a daring late-night heist, two Bulawayo babes, Monalisa Mhlanga (21) and Fikile Ncube (26), allegedly turned taxi driver Orchard Nyawo’s world upside down. The dynamic duo, with their alleged accomplices, lured Nyawo to a deserted spot on Khami Road, where they ambushed him with guns blazing.

The alleged robbers used Mhlanga’s mobile phone to lure Nyawo to the pick-up point, where they sprang into action. They smashed the window, grabbed the keys, and forced their way into the car. Nyawo was tied up with rope and shoved into the boot, while the thieves made off with his wallet and vehicle—a silver Honda Fit.

The plan was slick, but things quickly went awry. When the gang pulled into a garage in Pumula South, the car’s alarm system went off, sending them into a panic. They abandoned the car, leaving Nyawo still tied up and locked in the boot. Good Samaritans later rescued him, and the police tracked down Mhlanga and Ncube.

The police launched a thorough investigation, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. The alleged accomplices are still on the loose, and the police are working tirelessly to track them down.

The duo faces armed robbery charges and was remanded in custody to May 21 for trial. If convicted, they could face severe penalties, including lengthy prison sentences.

As the case unfolds, the public is glued to their screens, eager to see justice served. Will Mhlanga and Ncube get the book thrown at them, or will they wriggle out of this tight spot? One thing’s for sure: this taxi tango has left everyone talking.

The community is shocked and outraged by the brazen robbery. Many are calling for harsh punishment for the alleged perpetrators, while others are speculating about the motives behind the crime. As the trial approaches, the public will be watching closely to see justice served.
