Five Suspects Caught with Ivory and Pangolin Scales in Victoria Falls

In a shocking turn of events, five individuals have been arrested in Victoria Falls for allegedly possessing wildlife products, including ivory and pangolin scales.

The suspects, Zwelibanzi Ndlovu (42), Philani Ndlovu (29), Shoti Shoko (53), Makhosini Sibanda (30), and Michael Muleya (32), are facing two counts of unlawful possession of protected wildlife products. Authorities recovered a whopping four kilograms of ivory and 380 pangolin scales during the arrest. One can only imagine the conversation of this  planned  stupidity : “Hey, let’s just grab some ivory and pangolin scales, no one will notice!”

The five suspects are expected to appear in court this Saturday, where they’ll likely face the music for their alleged wildlife crimes. Let’s hope they have a good lawyer, or they’ll be singing a different tune.

In all seriousness, wildlife trafficking is a serious issue, and these arrests are a step in the right direction. Let’s hope justice is served, and these suspects learn to appreciate wildlife from a distance.
