Dynamos FC has just dropped a bombshell – head coach Saul Chaminuka is OUT! Effective immediately, he’s been suspended due to poor performance, insubordination, and unacceptable behavior.
The team’s been struggling, and it’s their worst season in 20 years. They’re currently sitting in 17th place in the relegation zone. The writing was on the wall, and now Chaminuka’s got the boot.
The suspension letter from secretary general Webster Marechera is pretty harsh, stating, “A prima facie case has been established against you… You are hereby suspended from work without pay and benefits.” That’s a serious slap on the wrist!
And let’s not forget, Chaminuka’s already serving a two-match ban from the Premier Soccer League, following that incident against FC Platinum. He was fined $4,000, and now he’s facing this suspension.
But Dynamos FC isn’t dwelling on the negatives. They’re reportedly considering former Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu to help turn things around. Could he be the one to save Dynamos from relegation? Stay tuned to find out!
