Dr. Mhuseli Magudumana ‘Nandipha’s Husband’ Breaks Silence Amidst Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester Controversy

In a dramatic turn of events surrounding the highly publicized Netflix documentary _Beauty and The Bester_, Dr. Mhuseli Magudumana, husband of medical doctor Nandipha Magudumana, has finally spoken out about the controversy involving his wife and convicted criminal Thabo Bester.

The couple, married since 2013 in a grand ceremony, have been at the center of public speculation after allegations surfaced about Nandipha’s affair with Bester. The documentary, which premiered in September 2025, ignited intense discussion across social media platforms, leaving many eager to hear Dr. Mhuseli’s perspective.

In his statement, Dr. Mhuseli expressed profound disillusionment, saying the woman he once married and loved is no longer the person he knows. “I don’t know this Nandipha anymore,” he said, referring to the estranged wife. He also revealed a heartbreaking detail that the last time their children saw their mother was when she dropped them off at school in 2023.

Adding further insight, Nandipha’s brother, Nkosinathi, shared on the documentary that he reached out to Dr. Mhuseli to check on him and the children amidst the scandal. “I called Nandipha’s husband and asked, ‘How are you doing? How are the kids doing? How do you feel?’ He said he doesn’t know this Nandipha. This is not the Nandipha he married, who is the mother of his kids. Something that he can’t explain got hold of Nandipha.”

Dr. Mhuseli also expressed his pain over the lack of communication with his children regarding their mother’s situation. “At least tell the kids, ‘Mommy has got questions to answer,’” he lamented, highlighting the emotional toll the controversy has taken on the family.

As the story continues to unfold, public attention remains riveted on the complex dynamics of this high-profile case, with many hoping for resolution and healing for all involved.
