Leeds full-back Kristensen joins Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt have completed a permanent transfer for Leeds United full-back Rasmus Kristensen for a fee believed to be about €9m.

The 27-year-old is on a season-long loan with the Bundesliga club, who face Tottenham in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday.

The Denmark defender, who spent last season on loan at Serie A club Roma, has made 38 appearances for Frankfurt this campaign.

Kristensen joined Leeds from RB Salzburg in June 2022 and his last appearance for the Whites came in the 4-1 defeat by Tottenham in May 2023 which sealed their relegation from the Premier League.
