Abducted Chinhoyi University Students Found Tortured

Two students, Marlvin Saint and Lindon Zanga, from Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT), who were reportedly abducted yesterday, have been found with visible signs of torture and bruises.

According to eyewitnesses, the students were taken by unidentified individuals driving a grey Isuzu vehicle without registration plates at Mzimba Shopping Centre. The same vehicle was seen distributing ZICOSU campaign materials earlier that day.

The students, who are members of ZINASU, were actively participating in the Student Representative Council (SRC) elections.

ZINASU has condemned the abduction, and the university community is calling for justice .

The incident has sparked concerns about student safety and the independence of campus politics.

The students’ condition is currently unknown, and authorities are investigating the matter.
