Mozambican Man Dies in Police Custody, Body Refuses to Leave Van Amid Spiritual Claims

Mean While in South Africa -A Mozambican man arrested by officers from Rav… Police Station last week under suspicion of lacking proper documentation met a tragic fate while in custody. During transport in the police van, he complained of a racing heart and desperately asked for water , requests that went unanswered. Sadly, he died en route to the hospital.

The man left behind two wives and children in Mozambique, struggling with hunger and relying on his hope to find work in South Africa. His dreams were cut short by this heartbreaking incident.

Upon arrival at the hospital, his body remained inside the van, but an eerie phenomenon unfolded: attempts to remove his lifeless body failed. Locals say the man’s spirit was refusing to be taken out. Even consultations with traditional healers (n’angas) and prophets yielded no solution.

Now, the spirit reportedly demands that only a traditional healer from Mozambique can release the body. It has been a week, and the body still rests inside the police van.

Further spiritual instructions from the deceased include that the same van be used to transport his body back to Mozambique. He also insisted that the very police officer who arrested him must visit his mother personally, explain the tragedy, and show her his body.

This haunting story merges tragedy with deep cultural beliefs, leaving many unsettled and searching for answers.
