Fatal Dog Attack Exposes Mike Mupinga’s Troubling Past

The arrest of Mike Mupinga in connection with a culpable homicide case following a fatal dog attack at his home in Mabelreign has shed light on his troubling history. Mupinga, who owned the pit bulls that allegedly mauled a neighbor to death, has a rap sheet that raises more questions about his character.

In December 2020, Mupinga was arrested in Zambia for transporting 1.6 tonnes of loose, dry cannabis concealed in black plastic bags. He allegedly tried to bribe a Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) officer to secure the release of the vehicle.

But that’s not all. Mupinga has at least six active cases with Zimbabwe’s vehicle theft squad and has been reported for sexual assault twice and attempted murder. One of the attempted murder cases involved a gun.

Mupinga is being charged with culpable homicide in connection with the fatal dog attack. However, the police have not commented on his other cases or why he was out on bail before the tragedy.

The fatal dog attack has sparked a heated debate about responsible pet ownership and the need for accountability. Mupinga’s history raises questions about his ability to care for animals and his disregard for the law.

The community is demanding justice for the victim and his family. Will Mupinga face the full weight of the law for his alleged crimes?
