Highlanders Football Club has appointed Denzil Mnkandla as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2025. Mnkandla, a seasoned football administrator, brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as General Manager at FC Platinum. He replaces interim CEO Kindman Ndlovu, who took over from Brian Moyo earlier this year.

Highlanders chairman Kenneth Mhlophe expressed satisfaction with Mnkandla’s appointment, citing his impressive track record and reputation for getting things done. Mnkandla beat out two other candidates, Nomvelo Mlotshwa and Nkululeko Ndlovu, for the top job.

The appointment is seen as a fresh start for the struggling giants, with fans hoping Mnkandla’s leadership will bring success to the club.
