Brighton Chiweshe ,34, was found guilty of culpable homicide, in connection to a d#ath which occured at C Mine in Mberengwa. Brighton was summoned before the Gweru High Court were justice was served.

The case erupted from horrific events which occured 22th of Febuary this year, where the defendant switced on the round mill, crushing the legs of his colleague(Tapera Manjonjo).

Mr Manjonjo sadly passed away in a hospital, two days later following the tragic incident due to excessive bleeding on the injuries.

The court sentenced Chiweshe, 12 months in prison, after the jury found him guilty of culpable homicide, his crime was an act of negligence, when he switched on the machine without checking if anyone was inside.He was slammed with 12 months imprisonment
