Trump’s Administration Offers $1,000 to Undocumented Migrants Who “Self-Deport

In a bold move, the Trump administration is now offering $1,000 to undocumented migrants who agree to “self-deport” and leave the United States. This policy aims to encourage immigrants to voluntarily return to their home countries, helping the administration meet its immigration goals.

According to officials, at least one migrant from Honduras has already taken advantage of the offer, flying from Chicago back to his home country. The program includes a flight home in addition to the $1,000 incentive.

This policy is part of the administration’s efforts to reduce the number of undocumented immigrants in the US. Supporters argue it provides a humane solution, while critics raise concerns about its potential impact.
