Newcastle United could find themselves locked in a January transfer battle with Tottenham Hotspur as both clubs weigh up moves for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, according to reports.
The 25-year-old Norway international has attracted interest after a strong run of form, with Newcastle considering a renewed approach to Wolves. However, Spurs are also in the market for attacking reinforcements, particularly after it emerged that Mohammed Kudus’ injury is more serious than initially feared.
Elsewhere, developments at Manchester United have complicated Roma’s interest in forward Joshua Zirkzee. Roma director Ricky Massara has indicated that the dismissal of head coach Ruben Amorim has altered the dynamics of any potential deal involving the 24-year-old.
Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa has also been the subject of intense speculation.
