Three Arrested in Connection with Murder in Dangamvura

 

Police in Mutare have apprehended three suspects in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Tarick Mamenomuno. The incident occurred on May 6, 2025, at a residence in Dangamvura.

According to reports, the suspects – Brighton Kaisa (27), Oliver Kaisa (28), and Garikai Saungwena (50) – accused Mamenomuno of stealing vegetables from their garden. In a shocking turn of events, the suspects allegedly tied Mamenomuno to a mango tree, head down, and took turns assaulting him with a wire and an electric cable. The victim succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The police swiftly responded to the incident and launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the three suspects. The authorities are working to gather evidence and build a strong case against the accused.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many expressing outrage and sadness over the senseless loss of life. The case highlights the need for calm and peaceful resolution of disputes, rather than resorting to violence.
