A 35-year-old Shamva man, Fyton Murungweni, is counting his blessings after being severely attacked by three men who accused him of cheating with one of their wives. The attackers, Munyaradzi Musiiwa, Willard Musiiwa, and Tinashe Musiiwa, allegedly stormed Murungweni’s house, accusing him of having an affair with Munyaradzi’s wife.
The trio arrived at Murungweni’s house, and after a heated argument, Murungweni locked himself inside for safety. However, when someone called him outside, claiming the attackers had left, Murungweni fell into a trap. The trio pounced on him, taking turns to assault him until he lost consciousness.
Murungweni was rushed to Shamva hospital, where he’s currently nursing injuries. The police have warned people to shun violence, and the three attackers are assisting with investigations.
As the saying goes, “love triangles can be deadly,” but in this case, it was more like a “love triangle plus two extra angry men.” Let’s hope Murungweni recovers soon and learns to dodge love drama.
