A tragic incident unfolded in Damafalls, Harare, on June 15, 2025, resulting in the death of Cyprian Muradzi, 25. According to police reports, Muradzi was allegedly assaulted by a suspect known as Godwin alias Bogus, who accused him of stealing a wheelbarrow. The suspect’s brutal attack proved fatal, and Godwin is now on the run.

The police are urging anyone with information about Godwin’s whereabouts to come forward and report to their nearest station. This case highlights the importance of community cooperation in bringing perpetrators to justice.

In an unrelated incident, the Zimbabwe Republic Police in Chegutu arrested two suspects, Honest Mbano (18) and Norest Machoko (24), in connection with a robbery case at G-Zone mine on June 17, 2025. The suspects allegedly attacked a complainant and stole $120. Two additional suspects remain at large, and the police are working to apprehend them.
