Minister Kazembe Cracks Down on Rogue Traffic Police

 

Minister of Home Affairs Kazembe Kazembe has directed traffic police officers to stop blocking traffic flow while conducting duties. Instead, officers should ask drivers to pull over to a safe location for vehicle inspections. This move aims to address growing concerns over corruption and harassment at roadblocks, and officers who fail to comply will face disciplinary action.

The directive seeks to improve road safety while ensuring law enforcement officers serve the public responsibly. By doing so, Minister Kazembe aims to restore discipline within the police force and promote a culture of accountability .
