Make the President Giggle and Get a Mansion

Zimbabwean comedian Leeroy Tadiwanashe Zavare, aka Comic Elder, is living his best life. Business mogul Wicknell Chivayo just handed him a staggering US$150,000 to buy a dream home all because he tickled President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s funny bone.  This comes hot on the heels of a brand-new Ford Raptor gifted by the President himself.

Chivayo called it a “small token of appreciation” for Comic Elder’s talent, adding , “If you make the President laugh, you’ve made the whole nation smile!” The cash can be collected via lawyer Sikhumbuzo Mpofu this Friday no strings attached (except maybe a few more stand-up routines).

It’s not Comic Elder’s first rodeo with VIP gifts. He’s joined an elite club of influencers showered with swag by Mnangagwa and Chivayo. Question,  Will he pick a mansion in Borrowdale, or a villa in Victoria Falls?
