Heartbreaking Taunts: Zimbabwean Mother and Babies Chased Away

A heart-wrenching incident has sparked outrage after a Zimbabwean woman begging with her two infants at a South African traffic light was verbally assaulted and driven away by local xenophobic activists. The viral video shows the woman surrounded by South African women who shouted at her to return to Zimbabwe and seek help from President Mnangagwa.

The activists accused her of “bringing Zimbabwean poverty” to South Africa and claimed she was ruining the country’s image in the eyes of tourists. “We do not want you here. Go back,” someone shouted at a woman who was begging with her infant.

The incident has sparked outrage and calls for action to protect vulnerable individuals and communities.
