A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Bulawayo’s Kensington suburb when a father accidentally ran over his 2-year-old daughter while reversing his Toyota Hilux Double Cab. The morning of June 20, 2025, began like any other, but turned into a nightmare.
As the father backed out of his yard at around 8:43 AM, he failed to notice his toddler behind the vehicle. The front left side of the car struck the little girl, and the front wheel tragically ran over her. The child suffered severe head injuries and died instantly.
