Because One Psychiatric Unit Just Isn’t Enough: Jealous Tomasi’s Story

In a shocking turn of events, 53-year-old Jealous Tomasi has been sent back to Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison’s psychiatric unit after allegedly committing two brutal murders at a mining site. Because, clearly, the first 10 years of treatment didn’t take.

Tomasi’s history of mental instability is well-documented. In 2008, he was placed under psychiatric care after being found not guilty by reason of insanity for murdering a neighbourhood watch member. Apparently, that experience didn’t stick, and he allegedly went on to commit two more murders.

According to State papers, Tomasi allegedly joined a scuffle without being involved and then struck one of the men with an axe. A second victim, a neighbour who came to check on the commotion, was also allegedly attacked. One can only imagine the neighbour’s thoughts: “I came to check on the noise, and now I’m in a world of trouble.”

The court has ordered Tomasi to undergo a psychiatric review. Because, you know, a little more therapy might do the trick. As Tomasi settles back into his old digs, one can’t help but wonder what other surprises he has in store for us. Maybe he’ll start a prison band? The possibilities are endless!
