Arrest Warrant Issued for Socialite Mama Vee in E-Creator Fraud Case

Magistrate Francis Mapfumo has authorized an arrest warrant for socialite Mama Vee after she failed to appear in court as a witness in the ongoing E-Creator fraud trial. The case involves Zhao Jiaotong, who is accused of orchestrating a large-scale scam that defrauded more than 670 investors out of approximately US$364,000.

The fraudulent scheme reportedly exploited Facebook pages of well-known personalities, including Mama Vee and fellow socialite Madam Boss, to attract and deceive victims. Madam Boss has testified that she was introduced to the fraudulent company by Mama Vee and also suffered financial losses as a result.

The court has scheduled the continuation of the trial for October 20, 2025, as investigations and proceedings move forward.
