Police Officers Accused of Demanding Bribe for Releasing Body

A disturbing incident has allegedly unfolded in Zimbabwe, where police officers are accused of demanding a bribe to release the body of a deceased individual. According to reports, officers at Jotsholo police station allegedly demanded $14 from Mr. Mzizi to release the body of his son, who died at Cross Jotsholo shops.

The situation allegedly took a turn for the worse when the officers demanded an additional $30 to take the body for a post-mortem. Mr. Mzizi, an elderly man, was reportedly forced to pay these charges during a difficult time.

The incident has raised concerns about police conduct and the need for transparency in their dealings with the public. An investigation into the matter is warranted to determine the facts and ensure accountability.
