Ruwa Businessman Joseph Mutangadura Killed in Suspected Robbery

Joseph Mutangadura, a well-known businessman and entrepreneur from Ruwa, also known as Mutangazi, was tragically shot dead in an apparent armed robbery at his Lisheen Estate farmhouse.

The attack occurred shortly after midnight when unknown gunmen forced their way into the property and opened fire.

Mutangadura, who owned Lisheen Estate, the popular leisure spot Mutangadura Hideout, and several butcheries, was fatally wounded during the incident. Police have confirmed his death and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.

“We are looking into the details of the murder,” officials told ZiFM Stereo, declining to provide additional information at this time.

The news of Mutangadura’s death has deeply affected the Ruwa community and beyond. He was widely respected for growing his family businesses into successful ventures in both farming and hospitality, and was recognized as a visionary leader and generous employer who played a significant role in the local economy.
