Sheillah Chikomo, Zimbabwe’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, has a reputation for being sharp-witted and fiercely intelligent. With a background in international relations and diplomacy, she’s built a career on forging strong alliances and negotiating complex trade deals. But even the toughest diplomat can’t resist a fairytale romance.

Ba Josh, Chikomo’s fiancé, is a charming entrepreneur with a passion for luxury and adventure. He’s known for his thoughtful gestures and ability to surprise Chikomo with romantic getaways. For their proposal, he planned a surprise trip to Dubai, where he got down on one knee at a helicopter pad overlooking the Burj Al Arab. Chikomo was overwhelmed with emotion, tears of joy streaming down her face as she said yes.

The couple met through mutual friends and quickly discovered a shared love for travel, fine dining, and international culture. Their relationship timeline is filled with exotic vacations, cozy nights in, and deep conversations about politics, economics, and life. “We balance each other out,” Chikomo says. “Ba Josh brings out the adventurous side of me, while I help him navigate the complexities of international diplomacy.”

Chikomo’s Instagram post sparked a frenzy, with fans and followers cooing over the fairytale romance. “I’m living vicariously through you two,” one commenter wrote. “This is the kind of proposal that makes you believe in love again,” another added.

As Deputy Minister, Chikomo will continue to navigate complex international relations and trade agreements. With Ba Josh by her side, she’s ready to take on the challenges of diplomacy with a renewed sense of purpose and passion. “Love is the best diplomacy,” she says with a smile. “It brings people together and fosters understanding.”
