Anesu Mudzukuri, a 12-year-old girl from Harare, tragically took her own life by hanging herself with a skipping rope, leaving her family, classmates, and teachers at Houghton Park School devastated.

The heartbreaking incident occurred on August 15, and Anesu was laid to rest in Zororo, Chitungwiza, on August 26. The burial was postponed as authorities conducted a forensic investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding her death.
