✈️ Air Zimbabwe Opens Applications for Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship Intake

✈️ Air Zimbabwe Opens Applications for Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship Intake

Air Zimbabwe has opened applications for its 2026 Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship Intake, offering young Zimbabweans a chance to build careers in the aviation sector through a structured four-year technical training programme.

The national airline said the apprenticeship will provide hands-on training in 11 specialised aircraft engineering trades, including critical areas such as avionics, airframes and other technical disciplines essential for aircraft maintenance, safety and operations.

Air Zimbabwe said the programme is aimed at equipping trainees with practical skills and industry knowledge, preparing them for professional roles in the aviation industry upon successful completion.

Applications for the 2026 intake close on January 23, 2026, and interested candidates are required to submit their applications via email.

The airline has also encouraged female candidates to apply, as part of efforts to promote gender equality and increase women’s participation in technical and engineering fields within aviation.

Further details regarding entry requirements and specific engineering trades will be communicated directly to shortlisted applicants during the selection process.
