In a jaw-dropping display of modern romance, a man recently decided that the best response to an early-ended phone call and some radio silence from his date was to jump in his car and drive for hours to find her. Because, obviously, when your phone stops ringing, the only logical solution is to channel your inner detective and hit the highway.

Not content with mere patience or a simple text message, this gentleman went full “romantic road warrior” mode, proving once and for all that subtlety is overrated. We can only assume he was following the ancient dating manual titled _If You Can’t Reach Her, Drive Until You Can_.

The internet had a field day with this saga. Rutendo Vee Mawadzi weighed in, “That’s no longer a red flag but a red carpet” .

Meanwhile, Mpho Jewel Mokgaga pointed out the stark difference in dating styles, noting, “But men send us Goodnight, Sweet dreams my love @19:00 and we sleep in peace without bothering anyone.
