The usually drama-filled world of South African television just got a whole lot juicier! Sindi Dlathu, known for her role in  The Queen took shots at Connie Ferguson, the ace  of South African soap operas, over alleged unfair payment practices in her production house.

Dlathu’s tweet read like a mic drop: “When you work under her production, you get peanuts while she lives in a mansion.” Ouch! She called out Ferguson for allegedly underpaying actors and actresses, demanding better pay across the board.

Ferguson didn’t take the shade lying down. She shot back with a sassy reply: “You want to live a CEO life when you’re just an employee.” Ferguson stood firm, insisting her production house pays well and she won’t be guilt-tripped into
