Trump Orders ‘Permanent Pause’ on Migration from ‘Third World Countries

US President Donald Trump has announced a permanent pause on migration from “Third World Countries” to allow the US system to fully recover. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that he will terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, and end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens.

The President’s statement has sparked controversy, with many questioning what he means by “Third World Countries,” as the term is considered outdated and derogatory. The United Nations has a classification for Least Developed Countries (LDCs), which includes 44 countries, but it’s unclear if this is what Trump is referring to .

Trump’s announcement comes after a shooting near the White House, where an Afghan national was involved, and has led to a review of Green Card holders from 19 countries, including Afghanistan, Haiti, and Iran. The move has been seen as a significant shift in US immigration policy, with potential far-reaching consequences for millions of people worldwide .
