Miss Universe Drama In Thailand

A dramatic incident unfolded at a Miss Universe event in Thailand, where several contestants, including reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark, walked out in solidarity after the host nation’s director, Nawat Itsaragrisil, publicly berated Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch.

The confrontation occurred during a pre-pageant ceremony, where Mr. Nawat scolded Ms. Bosch for not posting promotional content on social media. When she objected, he called security and threatened to disqualify those supporting her. The situation escalated, with many contestants standing up to show their support for Ms. Bosch and eventually leaving the room.

The Miss Universe Organisation (MUO) has condemned Mr. Nawat’s behavior, describing it as “malicious” and “humiliating.” In a statement, MUO President Raul Rocha said, “Miss Universe is an empowerment platform for women, and we will not tolerate any behavior that undermines this principle.”  the   room   was  filled with  cfonten
