A rural town was left scratching its head after a driver was stopped by police for having a full-grown cow crammed in the back seat of his battered sedan. The cow, whose head was sticking out the window, seemed to be enjoying the ride, but authorities weren’t laughing.

The driver, who apparently thought outside the box, told officers the cow was his trusty tow truck. “If I break down, she’ll pull me home,” he smirked. While the response raised some eyebrows, it didn’t fly with the law.
