The music fraternity is in mourning after the tragic passing of renowned Sungura musician Tatenda Pinjisi. Pinjisi succumbed to injuries sustained in a devastating car accident on Friday near Norton.
The accident claimed the lives of three individuals, including two of Pinjisi’s band members and a female passenger. Pinjisi was rushed to Sally Mugabe Hospital in Harare, where he fought for his life in the intensive care unit before passing away on Sunday.
Pinjisi’s contribution to Zimbabwean music will be deeply missed. His legacy and music will continue to inspire fans across the country. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time.
