A chilling incident has sent shockwaves through the community of West Nicholson, where a woman’s handbag reportedly transformed into a monitor lizard. The incident occurred when the woman left her bag on the floor while negotiating with a pirate taxi driver.

Upon returning to retrieve her bag, she was met with a terrifying sight ,  a large monitor lizard had taken its place. The sudden appearance of the reptile has left many scratching their heads, with some speculating that the incident might be a prank gone wrong.

“I believe someone stole her bag and replaced it with the lizard,” said a local resident. “But with the superstitions around here, they’ll rather believe in miracle money and bags.”

While some attribute the incident to thievery and mischief, others wonder if there’s more to the story. Monitor lizards are common in Zimbabwe, but the circumstances surrounding this incident have sparked widespread fascination and fear.
